TAP Air Portugal Wins Award for the Best Stopover Program

TAP’s Stopover is recognized for the eighth consecutive year by Global Traveler

TAP Air Portugal was awarded Best Stopover Program for the eighth consecutive year at the 14th edition of the Global Traveler Leisure Lifestyle Awards. This recognition highlights the popularity and value of TAP’s Portugal Stopover program among international travelers.

The annual Global Traveler Leisure Lifestyle Awards are chosen exclusively through votes from readers of Global Traveler magazine, collected through open voting, and offer an authentic reflection of travelers’ preferences and experiences.

TAP’s Portugal Stopover program allows Customers to enjoy a stop in Portugal, on the outbound or return leg of their trip, for up to ten days, at no additional airfare cost. TAP Passengers can explore Lisbon’s vibrant neighbourhoods, Porto’s historic charm, or venture further afield to discover Portugal’s beaches, wine regions, and cultural landmarks—adding value and flexibility to their journeys.

Customers also receive a 25% discount on a domestic flight—for example, to the Azores or Madeira—and discounts and perks with more than 150 partners, including hotels, restaurants, activities, tours, museums, cultural venues, shops, and much more.
